Event: Mighty Mud Mania

Cost: Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Vista del Camino food bank. $10 for adults. Proceeds support youth programs in Scottsdale.
Details: Registration begins at 8 a.m. Those under 18 must bring a signed permission slip or have a parent or guardian available at the event to sign one. Those 6 and younger can enjoy the mini mud obstacle course, mud pits, water play area, sand castle building and “Mudville.” The Chaparral Aquatic Center (this includes the pool, bathrooms and shower facilities) will not be open at Mighty Mud Mania 2013. Important: shirts and lace up closed toe shoes are required for everyone participating in Mighty Mud Mania. 10,000 to 12,000 people are expected to attend the event.
